Electrical Repair & Troubleshooting Course -  24 Hours

The primary objective of this training is to provide a detailed and comprehensive Electrical Repair & Troubleshooting Course for the current aging aircraft,  B757 & B767 respectively. This Instructor Led course will povide the techician the comprehension and knowledge to comply with the Standard Wiring Practices and Procedures as well as the Skills and Confidence to perform the troubleshooting and wire repair as required in the Line Maintenance environment. 

Standard Wiring Practices is taught indepth and thorughly for technician comprehension with the ability to apply the SWP practices to actual repairs built into the course. Instruction by the Instrcutor for Daniels Tools and Contactor selection, Inspection of all crimp procedures and connections by the instructor for proper crimp and the explaination of the crimp

Each student has their own practice board they must build individually using the SWP manual, System Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams. In building this project they will assemble and pin Cannon Plugs, Terminal Blocks, Switches, Circuit Breakers, as well as splice Solder Sleeves, Environmental Splices, and Studs. Instruction on the operation and practical uses of the Multi Meter and Milli Ohm Meter for the purpose of Troubleshooting and Repair using AC & DC Power , Continuity and Resistance readings, including recognition of opens & shorts.
